We thought it only fitting that we featured a classic Nicolas Cage quote as the subtitle for this weekend’s show, seeing as he is the star of the upcoming horror thriller release from pioneering crowdfunded entertainment company Legion M, released in cinemas on 13th September. Legion M had a major presence at San Diego Comic Con this past July, taking over Harbor House Restaurant in Seaport Village for the duration and showcasing for followers and fans the incredible roster of films and projects that the company has put in cinemas recently (including Dean Devlin‘s BAD SAMARITAN, starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan).
Legion M have taken the non-traditional route in bringing exciting projects to fruition, including this unique approach to presenting content at SDCC – we’ll be talking to Paul Scanlan and/or Jeff Annison about how this worked, how it didn’t, what they learned from the experience, and what it ultimately means to have a presence at Comic-Con in 2018. (We’re also going to invite BAD SAMARITAN director Dean Devlin to join us – but let’s not get our hopes up, yeah?)
