The nights may be drawing in already and the temperature may be dropping compared to weeks past but it’s still technically summer so we can celebrate some more special events taking place across the globe, both here in the UK and in the US, in the coming weeks – including FanExpo Toronto (happening this weekend), MCM Scotland, Thought Bubble Leeds and, of course, New York Comic Con. We look forward to these events in September with a special preview show, as well as Leonard bringing his report of the NICE Comic Convention, held this Saturday.
One of these special events is a pure comics-driven event, held each summer in Birmingham UK – the ICE International Comic Expo. We are joined this week by organiser Shane Chebsey who not only will be talking us through the amazing guests that he has lined up for this show, as well as his Winter event in Brighton, but also the ever-changing landscape of comics conventions in the UK.
We’ll also be checking in with our favourite entries on our Matt Taylor ‘Signed SDCC 2018 Souvenir Guide; Competition’ as well as our pick of the weeks comic con culture headlines – hope you can join us!
