Talkin’ Comic-Con: A Cup O’ Tea with An Englishman In San Diego
s05e37 (13th May 2018)
“…it’s a bloodbath.”
Good grief! This weeks news about cancelled shows has been particularly brutal, especially from the Fox Network… We’ll be picking apart all of the updates from the stories of those we’ve lost, those we’ve seen returning and those we’ve seen given an emergency breath of life! We’ll also be talking to Andy Behbahkt about his take on genre television and how that relates to what we could be seeing in San Diego this July – we’ll also cast an eye over what franchises and movies we could be seeing on stage over SDCC 2018.
Leonard Sultana will also be bringing his impressions of The Ultimates event that took place in Blackpool this weekend, and Alyssa Franks (Friends Of Comic Con Forum) will be bringing us all the latest news from the boards.
This, and all of the latest news and updates in the world of San Diego Comic-Con and con culture – it should be a fun show, we hope you can join us live!
TALKIN’ COMIC-CON: A CUP O’ TEA WITH AN ENGLISHMAN IN SAN DIEGO is the weekly San Diego Comic-Con and con culture live podcast, broadcasting every Sunday (6pm GMT / 10am PT / 1pm ET) and hosted by Leonard Sultana, joined by Alyssa Franks.
Each week, the best bloggers on t’web talk about San Diego Comic-Con, about con & pop culture and, for an hour or so, we invite guests to talk to us and get nerdy and geeky about everything that orbits the Best Pop Culture Convention On The Planet!
YOU can watch and interact online, either by Twitter (tweeting with the hashtag #CupOTeaSDCC) or via the Hangout Event Q&A. Schedules permitting, Leonard will be joined by guests from the SDCC blogging community and some surprises!
Our Guests, this week:
- Alyssa Franks, Friends Of Comic Con Forum
- Andy Behbahkt, The Marvel Report
- …more guests to be announced!
