Talkin’ Comic-Con: A Cup O’ Tea with An Englishman In San Diego

s04e17 (27th November 2016)

The evenings are drawing in, the weather has begun to turn (rain in San Diego!!), and everyone is gearing up for the festive season. While the con season has come to a close, we still have our show up and running and we still have special guests who can join us to talk nerd.
We are switching to a half hour format for the time being and, over this weeks 30 minutes, Leonard, Alyssa Franks and special guest Mark Searby talk about… in the light of the success of PASSENGERS, ARRIVAL, WESTWORLD and others, we weigh up the pros and cons of NOT showcasing at San Diego Comic-Con… Patriotic films in celebration of Thanksgiving… and our nerdy purchases for Black Friday.
Hope you can join us!

TALKIN’ COMIC-CON: A CUP O’ TEA WITH AN ENGLISHMAN IN SAN DIEGO is the weekly San Diego Comic-Con and con culture live podcast, broadcasting every Sunday (6pm GMT / 10am PT / 1pm ET) and hosted by Leonard Sultana, joined by Alyssa Franks.
Each week, the best bloggers on t’web talk about San Diego Comic-Con, about con & pop culture and, for an hour or so, we invite guests to talk to us and get nerdy and geeky about everything that orbits the Best Pop Culture Convention On The Planet!
YOU can watch and interact online, either by Twitter (tweeting with the hashtag #CupOTeaSDCC) or via the Hangout Event Q&A. Schedules permitting, Leonard will be joined by guests from the SDCC blogging community and some surprises!
Our Guests, this week:
  • Alyssa Franks, Friends Of Comic Con Forum
  • Mark Searby
…more amazing guests to be confirmed!
If you have anything you’d like to have discussed in these Comic-Con shows, please put a suggestion in the comments – we’d love to hear what you’d like to talk about. And don’t forget to join in the conversation LIVE during the show, using the Q&A button in the video preview above or on Twitter (#CupOTeaSDCC)
See you all, this and every Sunday, at 6pm GMT… LIVE!
