DC Entertainment publisher Jim Lee (BATMAN, JUSTICE LEAGUE, SUICIDE SQUAD, SUPERMAN UNCHAINED) talks about his 30+ years in the comics industry and sketches your favorite characters live on the big screen in this engaging panel. This is a great opportunity to watch the creative process first-hand and learn the tips of the trade that bring DC Comics’ characters to life.

Dan DiDio and Jim Lee are the driving forces behind DC UNIVERSE REBIRTH, Vertigo, MAD, DC’s Young Animal, DARK MATTER, and much more. This up-close-and-personal panel gives you unique access to the leaders of a fan-favorite comic book line!

Superstar DC writer, president, and chief creative officer Geoff Johns is on hand for an all-access, in-depth discussion. This program will give you insight to one of the genre’s most influential people. With the upcoming DOOMSDAY CLOCK, there will be much to cover!

Beware: You’re in for a scare! R. L. Stine, author of the bestselling children’s book series GOOSEBUMPS, is at Comic-Con for the first time. Come meet the man who has given you 25 years of fears.

The MIRACULOUS team is back! Join them to talk about the evolution of MIRACULOUS into seasons 2 and 3, a live-action movie, and worldwide success! They’ll also be introducing the new addition to the Zag Heroez roster: Zak Storm!

For many, Adam West provided the initial gateway to Batman through the glorious televised tales of the late ’60s. Tonight, fans will come together to celebrate his beloved performance and the 50+ years that followed with video footage and personal anecdotes. Hot off immortalizing his hand and footprints in cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, 95-year-old comics legend Stan Lee heads to San Diego Comic-Con for an intimate Q&A with Felicia Day, Mythbuster Adam Savage, and Stan’s longtime manager Max Anderson. Hear little-known anecdotes about Stan’s life, career, and hilarious encounters with fans and celebrities. The panel will also premiere footage from ICONS: FACE TO FACE, a cutting-edge VR project featuring Stan and Kevin Smith, coming soon from Legion M, the world’s first fan-owned media company.

The team behind DARK NIGHTS; METAL, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, are here to talk about DC’s hottest event! They are joined by DARK MATTER contributors Steve Orlando, Philip Tan, James Tynion IV, Robert Venditti, and others in this revealing session.

It’s been a banner year for J. Michael Straczynski (JMS): writing the pilot for MIDNIGHT NATION for Universal and Gale Ann Hurd, adapting TEN GRAND for A&E, writing a top-secret miniseries for TNT, and writing a RISING STARS screenplay for MGM. And of course this past May saw season 2 of his Netflix series, SENSE8. Meet the Man, the Myth, and the Hollowed Out Chocolate Easter Bunny known simply as Joe for behind-the-scenes stories in what promises to be one of the most personal talks he has ever given.

Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will star in SHARKNADO 5!, reprising their roles as shark-fighting heroes Fin Shepard and April Wexler. The latest film in the hit global franchise, SHARKNADO 5! features the return of original cast member Cassie Scerbo as Nova, a bartender turned badass Sharknado fighter. SHARKNADO 5!, which sees the deadly weather phenomenon of shark-infested storms bombard cities around the world, was filmed in more than five countries, including in the UK and Australia. There will be a slew of great cameos, including Fabio, Anthony Ferrante, and Chloe Lattanzi. The film is set to air on SYFY August 6.

Cast and crew of Bat in the Sun (creators of the hit award-winning web series Super Power Beat Down) lead a fun Q&A as they talk about their upcoming projects, including Valiant’s Ninjak versus the Valiant Universe! Panelists include Aaron Schoenke, Sean Schoenke, Jason David Frank, Kevin Porter, Tatiana Dekhtyar, Bryan Morton, Jonathan Carroll, and a few surprise guests.

SpaceX is developing a reusable passenger rocket, and self-driving cars will soon be in everyone’s garage. Science fiction has become science reality. Where are we heading next? Join the Fleet Science Center as they bring together Andy Weir (author of THE MARTIAN), Mike Johnson (writer, STAR TREK comics), and other science fiction writers to discuss with local scientists and engineers what the future will hold.

From Ms. Marvel to the A-Force, from Twitter to tumblr, the subject of women in comics has been one of the most talked-about in comics recently. Join the conversation as women from multiple disciplines in the creative process at Marvel discuss what it’s like working as a woman in comics today and what it means for the future of the industry. Panelists include content development director Sana Amanat, producer Judy Stephens, and more special guests to be announced.

They say breaking up is hard to do . . . but breaking into comics may be tougher! Get an inside look at how some of DC’s topnotch talent broke in and began crafting the tales of your favorite DC superheroes.

Making his creative debut in the comic book arena, actor/creator Terry Crews (BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, THE EXPENDABLES series) presents his new sci-fi miniseries NOTORIUM through studio AHR Visions, LLC. Crews and the creative team will discuss the comic, plans for the property, and the need for expanding reflective diversity within the comics and entertainment multimedia platform.
