It’s MCM London Comic Con this weekend with a whole raft of genre special guests hitting the capital – one that was planning to make the trip was STRANGER THINGS‘ own Eleven, MILLIE BOBBY BROWN.
As it happens, she’s had to announce that she won’t be able to join fans at the show but, to make up for it, she’s presented an exclusive clip to the MCM Comic Con YouTube page, with an especially recorded intro, where Eleven makes her bid for freedom from the alternate dimension that threatens to rip over to the real world, as teased in promo materials, such as that seen at this summers San Diego Comic-Con.
STRANGER THINGS 2 is set to hit Netflix in just a couple of weeks, with all nine episodes dropping on 27th October 2017. The show stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, CHARLIE HEATON and Natalia Dyer. The season is set a year after the first, with the young protagonists dealing with the aftermath of the events where Will Byers is still seeing visions of his time in the alternate dimension known as the Upside-Down, eeking out into the real world, which lost psychokinetic Eleven attempts to escape from.
MCM London Comic Con takes over the ExCel Conference Centre from Friday 27th – Sunday 29th October and features an incredible Special Guest list, the likes of Agent Carter’s HAYLEY ATWELL, Avenger’s Anthony Mackie, SHERLOCK’s ANDREW SCOTT, GAME OF THRONE’s DAVID BRADLEY and DARK MATTER’s Anthony Lemke and Zoie Palmer. Early Bird Weekend Passes may be sold out but individual Day tickets are still available: http://www.mcmexpostore.com/collections/london-comic-con
