Trailer: Matt Damon has to ‘science the s**t out of this’ in new teaser for Ridley Scott’s The Martian

THE MARTIAN is a forthcoming 20th Century Fox film, directed by RIDLEY SCOTT and starring Matt Damon, Kate Mara, Jessica Chastain, Michael Peña, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels and Naomi Scott. Based on the novel by Andy Weir, it follows the misfortunes of Mars Mission astronaut Mark Watney, presumed dead after being caught in a fierce storm, and is left behind when the rest of the crew evacuate the planet and begin to head back to Earth. Watney finds himself stranded and alone, with only meagre supplies and his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal home, despite knowing that even if his survival is made known there is no realistic prospect for a rescue. The film is due for international release on 25th November, 2015.
