STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is the eighth installment in the STAR WARS space opera franchise, written and directed by Rian Johnson. Produced by Lucasfilm and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, DAISY RIDLEY, JOHN BOYEGA, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, DOMHNALL GLEESON, ANTHONY DANIELS, GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE, ANDY SERKIS, and new cast additions Benicio del Toro , Kelly Marie Tran and Laura Dern. THE LAST JEDI follows the continuing story of scavenger Rey (Ridley) who follows her destiny to find recluse Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker (Hamill) – and into the path of adversary Kylo Ren (Driver). The film is scheduled for a U.S. release of 15th December 2017 – us Brits are expected to get it on the same day.
