The Pull List: ALTERNA COMICS Releases (Wednesday 20th April 2016)
ALTERNA COMICS Releases: Wednesday 20th April 2016
Each week, we take a look at the forthcoming ALTERNA COMICS titles, either in store or made available on the comiXology digital comics platform, giving you a comprehensive guide to your comics pull list.
Just the one title from Alterna this week but it’s one that’ll linger in the brainpan long after you turn the last page:
- TRESPASSER #2 is a brilliantly rendered sci-fi thriller which looks incredible (Kristian Rossi is absolutely the MVP of this book, with tight control of shadow and mood) and that art hangs off a wonderful double-header between Hector and his daughter which feels, on the whole, real and organic, thanks to some great writing from Justin Ryan. There are one or two lines which feel a little off between father and daughter but you soon forget those moments, the tension ebbing throughout the issue with a mysterious presence lurking in every corner.
TRESPASSER #2 is available on digital on ComiXology from today – I’d give the book a go but I’d also check out the first issue as well, it’s a difficult read without that primer.
