ACTION LAB ENTERTAINMENT Releases: Wednesday 16th March 2016

Each week, we take a look at the forthcoming ACTION LAB titles available in stores and in digital, giving you a comprehensive guide to your comics pull list.

Yup, it’s a raving-about-PRINCELESS week, here on the Pull Lists. Well, kinda…

  • You’ve had me giving it the full gushing over Jeremy Whitley‘s affirming and exciting creation before, very much recommending it to all ages and back it to the hilt. Here, with PRINCELESS: RAVEN THE PIRATE PRINCESS #6, I’m going to dial that back just a teensy-bit as the book is certainly straying toward the ‘young adult’ market in this current run. I’d heartily point the book in the direction of any reader and it’s still a cracking read – the writing from Whitley is as solid as can be expected and Rosy Higgins and Ted Brandt should be utter industry superstars – but I feel it’s more geared towards an older audience than the series before. PRINCELESS growing up, perhaps?

Still an essential purchase for readers of well-written and stunning rendered comics – head down to your Local Comic Book Shop and pick this book up today. Even better, show your support to the title and make sure you ask your friendly shop assistant to pre-order it for you. That’s what a kind-hearted human being would do.
