I’m posting something about makeup: this seems weird. Still, MAC brought out that STAR TREK range that launched at San Diego Comic-Con that time and t’Missus still raves about that, and even Gillen/McKelvie‘s THE WICKED + THE DIVINE has its own fashion accessory range. And this is STAR WARS after all so why on earth not?
Award-winning ‘colour brand’ Cargo Cosmetics have announced the launch of a limited edition STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI makeup collection, which ties in to the release of the film on 15th December 2017. The collection will debut in over 1,100 Kohl‘s store across the U.S. next month but I certain that you’ll be able to grab some at select U.K. stores, too. And there’s always t’interwebs, of course. You can buy anything on t’interwebs nowadays.

Admittedly, Cargo are not just some fly-by-night company, having been a staple on the sets of film and television, as well as in makeup bags worldwide.
“This collaboration with Disney has given our team an opportunity to really showcase our creativity,” says Brian Robinson, President of Cargo Cosmetics. “Cargo is regularly used on the sets of hit Hollywood films so developing a line for STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI just further reinforces our brand’s identity. We are truly excited to be able to offer the Cargo customer this exclusive capsule collection in addition to the regularly planned Fall/Holiday launches.”
For the lads, these may be ideal stocking fillers for the STAR WARS princess in your life, rather than trying it for ourselves. All of this is all well and good but until I see a print ad or a Debenhams poster with John Bodega giving it the full male model, I’m going to leave the warpaint to t’Other Half, thank you very much.
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is the eighth installment in the STAR WARS space opera franchise, written and directed by Rian Johnson. Produced by Lucasfilm and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, DAISY RIDLEY, JOHN BOYEGA, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, DOMHNALL GLEESON, ANTHONY DANIELS, GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE, ANDY SERKIS, and new cast additions Benicio del Toro , Kelly Marie Tran and Laura Dern. THE LAST JEDI follows the continuing story of scavenger Rey (Ridley) who follows her destiny to find recluse Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker (Hamill) – and into the path of adversary Kylo Ren (Driver). The film is scheduled for a U.S. release of 15th December 2017 – but, yay, us Brits are expected to get it a day early! Yah boo, sucks to be you.
