For a company just over one year old, AfterShock Comics continue making bold strides in their release announcements more suited to a company with a few more miles on the clock.
As teased in our interview with CEO/publisher Joe Pruett at ICE 2016, the company has some big plans for upcoming titles in the next six months or so, including two books that they unveiled at New York Comic Con this weekend.
Due for release in the first week of 2017, AfterShock explode into the New Year with a the superstar pairing of writer Phil Hester (GREEN ARROW / WONDER WOMAN) and artist Tony Harris (STARMAN / EX MACHINA) on new title BLOOD BLISTER; and then, a couple of weeks later, Marguerite Bennett continues expanding her world of ASC’s first breakout hit title, ANIMOSITY, with an explosive one-shot, THE RISE, featuring art from Juan Doe, artist on labelmate title AMERICAN MONSTER.
