Marvel Comics preview: an all-new, all-female Avengers Assemble – A-Force #1 (covers, preview art)

This is something we’ve previewed on our Google+ stream before but A-FORCE is such a massive event – an all-new, all-female line-up of Avengers, including She-Hulk, Spider-Woman, Medusa, Captain Marvel and many, many more – that we think it’s worth showcasing on the site in a dedicated post. I mean: look at these variant covers!

And, hey, any opportunity to properly Anglicise a Marvel Comics press release, am I right? Word.

The team they’ve pulled together for this is almost as impressive as the hero collective and we can’t wait to see what Willow Wilson and Bennett come up with in what, for me, is the most intriguing and compelling chapter of the Secret Wars event. The book is out in a month, on the 20th May – let’s do this, ladies…
