Home Con News WCA 2018: Fifth Wave of WonderCon Special Guests announced – Chanani, Fabok,...

Comic-Con International have clearly been eating their Weetabix: not only have the organisation been gearing up for this weekends Open Online Badge Registration sale, as well as kicking off the first days of a certain court case… CCI today announced one more Wave of Special Guests for next March’s WonderCon Anaheim – indeed, it’s the last bunch of illustrious names for the year before they wind down for the festive season.

The guest list so far consists of the superstar line-up of Jim Lee, Ed Piskor, V.E. SchwabLiam Sharp, Ryan Benjamin, Kevin Hearne, Cat StaggsMark Waid, Sergio Aragonés, Ryan Benjamin, Jody Houser, John JenningsMark Evanier, Dan Jurgens, David Petersen and Laini Taylor on it – here’s four more incredible creative powerhouses to add to the list.

Todays announced Special Guests are:

  • NIDHI CHANANI (Writer, artist: PASHMINA)
  • JASON FABOK (Artist: BATMAN, JUSTICE LEAGUE, SUICIDE SQUAD)
  • KEVIN GREVIOUX (Writer: I, FRANKENSTEIN, SPIDER-MAN, CYBORG)
  • MARIKO TAMAKI (Writer: SHE-HULK, TOMB RAIDER, SUPERGIRL, LUMBERJANES)

A tasty mix of indie published material, and properties from the Big Two – all amazing talents (especially Fabok and Tamaki, the work of which I’m a particular fan of). As previously mentioned, this is the last wave of announcements for this year: CCI return in January to pick up with another crop of creatives. And we’ll be right here waiting.
