Home Con News Sleepy Hollow stakes its claim to return to San Diego Comic-Con in...

our cup o tea‘Sleepy Hollow’ has had, by any stretch of the imagination, an impressive six months. After a stunning Room 6A panel début on the Friday of last summer at Comic-Con 2013, and an incredible first season on Fox which ended with an epic season finale last night (20th January 2014), fans are nicely primed for a confirmed second season and lots more from the show for seasons to come.

Well, the show has also staked its claim as one of the first shows confirmed for a return appearance at San Diego in July. The show’s Ichabod Crane, Surrey-born lead actor Tom Mison, has revealed in a recent interview with TV Guide that the cast and the show producers will be heading back to Comic-Con – and he, for one, can’t wait.

As Mison revealed in the interview:

“At San Diego Comic-Con in July, [executive producer Alex Kurtzman] and Bob [Orci] were on the panel, and then some weird British guy — me — and the beautiful Nicole [Beharie]. We were basically saying, ‘Please watch our show. It’s really good.’ Three months later at New York Comic Con, just three episodes in, we filled the second biggest hall. Now, I can’t wait for San Diego 2014.”

Of course, a return to San Diego was hardly something not to be expected after that introduction and the show’s confirmed second season – however, we won’t get any official confirmation from Fox until a lot closer to the Con when the full schedules are announced, usually a few weeks before SDCC itself.

Things are changing for San Diego Comic-Con, right? When we start getting show appearance confirmations before even the first Badge Sale happens, you can tell that we are playing in a whole new ballgame!
