logo - comic-con (distressed)While Comic-Con International have already laid down their plans for covering this years Comic-Con – including an exclusive interview with special guest Stan Sakai, creator of Usagi Yojimbo, the details of this years Con t-shirts and the Daily Schedule releases, amongst much more – the road to SDCC 2014 starts with the posts on their Toucan Blog, known as the Tips Of The Day.

This collection of posts, undated every day from today until the start of the Con, make up a comprehensive collection of useful hints and tips which can help seasoned Con-goe’ers and SDCC newbies alike, with subject covering the facilities available around the Convention Center, discounts and offers from many partners across San Diego and updates on the many off-site events that CCI organise beyond the main Con, and much more. They also cover the basics, such as this first post of the season: ‘Let The Planning Begin!’, in lists fifteen items that every Con attendee really should have in their suitcase before landing in Nerdvana.

The posts can be found every day on the Toucan Blog page of the CCI website;  you can also find them archived in one handy post on the SDCC Google+ Community, as well as our own Twitter feed on which we’ll post them the second they go live so don’t forget to turn on Notifications for us – you won’t regret it!
