NEWS: The Thought Bubble Festival is gearing up to launch its annual celebration of comic and sequential art, with a full listing for its programming being announced as going live at 10am, next Wednesday morning (9th October 2013), a tweet announced today.
“@ThoughtBubbleUK: This year’s festival comprises over 90 events spread across more than a week of programming. TBF13’s full listings go live: 10am 9/10/13!”
This year’s Thought Bubble Festival will be held between the 17th and 24th November 2013 in Leeds, West Yorkshire and is made up over ninety events, spread over a week of programming, featuring guests, both home-grown and international, as diverse as Matt Fraction (Hawkeye), Fiona Staples (Saga), Paul Cornell, Andy Diggle, Sean Gordon Murphy, Kieron Gillen, Hope Larson, Adi Granov, Jock, Jamie McKelvie and many more.
Thought Bubble is the largest festival of its kind in the UK, now in its seventh year, and has continued to increase in size, year-in year-out, with the Festival filling out the massive conference rooms at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, both the New Dock Hall and the Armouries Hall in 2012.
Indeed, there were headlines made when the current exhibitors table allocation of 300 tables sold out in just two hours back in February. The Festival will be expanding into a third Hall for this years event to cope with the demand.
The full listings for the festival will go live on the official website and, of course, all the eye-catching headlines we’ll highlight, right here on ‘An Engishman In San Diego’.
