TBF2014: Thought Bubble releases details of their UK Signing Tour ahead of this years Festival in November
The Thought Bubble Sequential Arts Festival doesn’t just consist of the massive two-day comics convention, held at the Royal Armories, Leeds, over the weekend of 15th–16th November – it officially also runs the week before, comprising of an incredible calendar of events including art exhibitions, screenings, talks and seminars, as well as a collection of signings by a whole cavalcade of international prestige talent being held in comic book shops, up and down the UK.
Organisers have released details of these signings, held in partnership with Travelling Man comic stores, Gosh! Comics, and Orbital Comics and it really is a ‘who’s who’ of renowned artists and writers of contemporary comics – Becky Cloonan and Babs Tarr will be part of the team representing the new Batgirl/Gotham Academy books for DC Comics; Jason Aaron, Jason Latour, Jeff Lemire, Scott Snyder, Tim Sale and more join the ladies on the tour to fly the flag for the American contingent of the tour; Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie will be hosting a ‘launch party’ (read: solid excuse for a well deserved piss-up) to celebrate the resounding success of The Wicked + The Divine; and, Richard Starkings will travelling hard to meet and greet the legion of Elephantman fans at a couple of the locations.

Gosh! Comics: “In November, we’re teaming up with our friends at Thought Bubble for two huge events: Jeff Lemire (Animal Man, Sweet Tooth, Trillium) and Scott Snyder (American Vampire, Batman) will be in the shop, signing for the south-of-Birmingham contingent on Friday 14th November between 5-7pm.
