If you’ve ever been to an MCM Central event, you know that anime, manga and animation are a massive part of the shows and fans will come out of the woodwork to indulge their two-dimensional obsession. (If you’ve not sat in a MCM Masquerade with a room full of manga fans singing show themes, you’ve not lived.) Well, those very same obsessives are going to be thrilled with this news about London Comic Con this 27th-29th May…

Algebraic! Jeremy Shada, who stars as Finn in the totally brilliant ADVENTURE TIME, is to be one of the special guests at this May’s MCM London Comic Con, meeting fans on the Saturday and Sunday of the UK’s biggest modern pop culture festival. Jeremy’s band, pop punk fourpiece Make Out Monday, will also be performing on Comic Con’s Fringe stage.

Jeremy’s character Finn the Human is the protagonist of hit Cartoon Network show ADVENTURE TIME. A hyperactive boy with a love of adventure and good deeds, Finn lives in the Land of Ooo with his friends Jake the Dog, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline the Vampire Queen, cute videogame system BMO and (now former) girlfriend Flame Princess.

Jeremy Shada has also voiced characters for TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE, CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS, BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, Studio Ghibli’s MY NEIGHBOURS THE YAMADAS and upcoming animated series VOLTRON: LEGENDARY DEFENDER. Meanwhile, his live action appearances include LOST, SHARK and sketch-comedy series INCREDIBLE CREW.

You can pick up your tickets to this incredible event – already confirmed to appear are MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Elizabeth Henstridge, STAR WARS/HARRY POTTER‘s Warwick Davis and ARROW‘s Willa Holland – at the MCM Ticket Storehttp://www.mcmexpostore.com/

And, of course, you can keep a track on all the updates from MCM Central at their website, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. We’ll do what we can you keep you appriased of all the latest news but ‘information is power’, right?
