STAR TREK: DISCOVERY today announced details on what they have planned for Comic-Con this year. Starting off with a panel moderated by Tig Notaro (who will appear in the upcoming season on the Friday of the convention in Hall H at 1:30pm with cast members Sonequa MartinGreenDoug JonesShazad LatifMary WisemanAnthony RappWilson CruzMary Chieffo, and Anson Mount set to appear along with Executive Producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.
In addition to the panel they will be hosting an offsite activation at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery (363 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101) from Thursday until Sunday. The Star Trek: Discovery Mirror Universe Gallery Takeover will give fans the opportunity to take photos with Emperor Georgiou’s Throne, as well as see props and costumes from the series’ Terran Empire. There will also be a shop there with Star Trek Comic-Con exclusives. Comic-Con badges are not required for this event which will be open Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 21 from 11 AM to 9 PM each day and Sunday, July 22 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Lastly from Thursday through Sunday of the convention CBS will offer free pedicab rides throughout the Gaslamp District. The pedicabs will have a design inspired by the U.S.S. Discovery’s captain’s chair. Each pedicab will also have video screens that will show trailers for the upcomign second season.

Celebrating its forthcoming second season on CBS All AccessStar Trek: Discovery is coming back to Comic-Con International with a lineup of fascinating events, activations, merchandise exclusives, and a panel—all taking place July 1922 in San Diego, Calif.

Here’s a peek at what’s in store.

First, expect a Star Trek: Discovery panel on Friday, July 20 at 1:30pm, Hall H, where the cast and producers of this CBS All Access series to look back on Season 1 and find out where the crew is headed as it transports into its second season.

Cast members scheduled to appear include Sonequa Martin-GreenDoug JonesShazad LatifMary WisemanAnthony RappWilson CruzMary Chieffo, and Anson Mount (who will be introduced as Captain Christopher Pike in the second season), alongside Executive Producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.

The panel will be moderated by series guest star Tig Notaro, who will appear in season 2 as Chief Engineer Reno.

Next, attendees can enjoy a Star Trek: Discovery Mirror Universe Gallery Takeover—a fully immersive experience at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery (363 Fifth Avenue, San Diego) scheduled to run from Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22.

The gallery features a photo opportunity with Emperor Georgiou’s Throne and showcases props and costumes from the series’ Terran Empire. The gallery will also house an official Star Trek shop with Comic-Con exclusives. Comic-Con badges are not required for entry.

Star Trek: Discovery Mirror Universe Gallery Exhibit Hours will be Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 21 from 11 AM to 9 PM and Sunday, July 22 from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Finally, from Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22, CBS will offer free “intergalactic” rides throughout San Diego’s Gaslamp District in pedicabs inspired by the design of the U.S.S. Discovery’s captain’s chair.

The pedicabs will feature the chair’s distinctive stitched black seats as well as video monitors built into its armrests, which will screen trailers for the highly anticipated second season. As an added touch, each vehicle will display an illuminated U.S.S. Discovery delta shield on the back.
