Home Con News SDCC 2018: NERDIST HOUSE present literal shit-ton of content for 2018 pop-up...

Oh boy. Remember when NERD HQ, Nerdist and Geek & Sundry first rolled into town, presenting a whole bunch of exciting content for eager San Diego Comic-Con attendees to enjoy outside of the Convention Centre? That was fun when that happened – a whole other brace of interactive content, giving as much choice that you almost didn’t have to attend Comic-Con at all (indeed, these great activations brought in their own crowds, many of whom didn’t land badges).

They were smaller, more intimate and certainly a lot more irreverent than the Main Event… but how times have changed with things blowing out of all proportion. NERD HQ fell by the wayside, due to lack of funding / lack of available space / lack of time for Zachary Levi to break wind between filming SHAZAM! and drinking his over-priced plonk. Nerdist and Geek & Sundry have, in recent years, set up shop at the Petco Park Stadium space but that started to feel a little bit like a machine… And so, for 2018, the two have combined forces once again but decided to take it back to its roots, taking over a much smaller venue and presenting NERDIST HOUSE, a hotbed of incredible presentations.

And, bugger me backwards, how much stuff are they bringing?? From panels with cast members from MARVEL’S AVENGERS: INFINITY WARS (hello, Pom Klementeiff and our own PAUL BETTANY), to conversations with DEADPOOL creator Rob Liefeld, presentations for shows such as STARGATE, SOMA and LOST IN SPACE, and oh my Sweet Merciful Zeus, a literal fuck-ton of live podcasts from across the Nerdist, Geek & Sundry and Alpha channels. Oh my god, so many. You’ll never want – or need to – to leave!

Speaking of which, best to let you know where NERDIST HOUSE can be found – you can find all this sweet, sweet content at Sparks Gallery which is 550 Sixth Avenue, just up t’block from the OMNIA Nightclub and across from the CVS in Downtown San Diego. It’s free of charge to the public and you don’t need a Comic-Con badge to attend, which is handy because if you did have one and went to this, it would be a goddamn waste of money. This is a whole other con, all to itself!

Ready? Gourd your loins, we’re going in:
