SDCC 2015 Off-Site: NERD HQ’s Conversations For A Cause panel details released
NERD HQ, the rabidly popular off-site event set up by actor Zachary Levi that takes place during the duration of San Diego Comic-Con, has released the full guest line-up for this years Conversations For A Cause – and there’s a whole host of Brits involved.
From those that have betrayed us by leaving for La-La Land – HAYLEY ATWELL, HANNAH WARE and MICHELLE GOMEZ – to those who will be visiting San Diego temporarily for SDCC duties – JENNA COLEMAN, STEVEN MOFFAT and RUPERT GRAVES – the collection of names is incredible strong for this years panels.
The intimate panels – held in close quarter with seating capacity for only 200 people at the new venue for the event, the New Children’s Museum – are held to raise money for Levi’s chosen charity, Operation Smile, and traditionally involve some of Levi’s closest friends and industry contacts, as well as some very special guests.
The revelations began with a couple of teasing tweets, featuring the faces of guests Nerd HQ fans would be seeing on stage:

Massive names, one and all, I’m sure you’ll agree – a couple here which were going to be of no big surprise, seeing as they are pretty much fixtures and fittings of the Nerd HQ line-up (Yvonne Strahovski and Nathan Fillion) but there’s some big names here people might not have expected (Jared Padalecki and M. Night Shyamalan).
The tweets were only the beginning, mind, and shortly after (5:15am GMT), the full listing was released, along with release details: the tickets fro these panels are just over £14 each ($22) and you can only buy TWO tickets per panel per order (multiple orders are allowed but, by the time you’ve put in the details for the several panels you’re thinking of attending, they’ll probably be gone – the best bet is to prioritise!).
The tickets are due to go on sale at 2pm on Thursday 2nd July (6am PT – this is good news, that’s pretty early for the ‘Mercians so we’ll have the advantage of being more awake!) and the site will release four panels every fifteen minutes. If they think this method is going to be enough to stem the tide of tens of thousands descending on the site, they’re in for one hell of a shock.
