Home Con News NERD HQ: initial Conversations Of A Cause panels listed

logo - nerd hq 2016 (high quality) (mockup)The ‘Conversations For A Cause’ panels of the Nerd HQ off-site are some of the hotly contested ‘hot tickets’ of the entire San Diego Comic-Con event – partly because of the strength of the invited panelists, partly because of the sheer maths involved in getting tickets (only 300 people are in each audience), but mostly because of the draw of the panels themselves: up close and personal with some truly incredible guests.

The full details of the Conversations line up are yet to be officially released by The Nerd Machine; however, a couple of eagle-eyed fans have spotted that the Brown Paper Tickets site – home of the company that administer the sale of the badges for The Nerd Machine – are now listing panel names and times.

They are:

Thursday 21st July

Friday 22nd July

A Conversation with the cast of “Drunk History.” Panelists include Derek Waters and Duncan Trussell.

“***VERY IMPORTANT*** You will only be allowed to attend 1 Nathan panel. If you buy tickets to both, your ticket will be voided and money refunded.”

Saturday 23rd July

A Conversation with the cast of “Workaholics.” Panelists include Blake Anderson, Anders Holm, Kyle Newacheck.

Sunday 24th July

Instructions from the BPT website, regarding these tickets:

Price: $22 (includes service fee)

Sales begin on 15 Jul 2016 6:00 AM PDT

In order to attend Nerd HQ, you must register and obtain a wristband prior to entry. Registration is FREE. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your panel to complete registration in front of venue. You can speed up the process by pre-registering on the official Nerd HQ app, and picking up your wristband at the check-in booth.

Download the Nerd HQ app for iOS and Android to receive up-to-date information, special offers, important announcements, panel schedules, and push notifications for special appearances.

THERE IS NO LATE ENTRY. You will not be permitted to enter the panel room once the panel has begun. Please give yourself plenty of time beforehand.

No word yet on Shatner – who is always a Nerd HQ staple but, like I say, these look like preliminary schedule listings for now. Watch this space…
