The French Comics Association are hosting a special event on Friday night of New York Comic Con titled COMICS CABARET: LIVE COMICS SCREENING & SIGNING. The event will take place from 6:30-9:30pm at The Society of Illustrators which is located at 128 East 63rd St.

There will be signings, sketches, comics read aloud by creators (including Robert Ross Parker), and more.

The Society of Illustrators, 128 East 63rd St.

An evening of comics, screened and read aloud by their creators and actors like Robert Ross Parker (Vampire Cowboys), with Q&A and signings/sketches to follow. Inspired by the popular Carousel series.

Bonus charming accents included.

Featuring: Zep (A Story of Men), Fabien Nury (The Death of Stalin), Alexis Sentenac (Siberia 56), Mathieu Lauffray (Long John Silver), Patricia Lyfoung (The Scarlet Rose), Valérie Vernay (Water Memory) and El Torres (Ghost of Gaudi). Learn more about the creators at the French Comics Association. Emcee’d by the fabulous Katie Skelly (My Pretty Vampire) with special guest “ambassador” Alex de Campi (No Mercy), this cross-cultural gathering will be a can’t-miss artsy party.
