WE NEED YOU! We’re looking for contributors… Have YOU got something to say?
We’re looking for WRITERS! REVIEWERS! er, POST-ERS! We can give you the platform and tools to stake your claim on nerd culture!
WRITERS!
Is there something you feel need discussing on the nature of comic cons, pop culture in general? We have posted articles from unique and distinctive voices who felt they had something relevant and important to say: people like Catherine Marsh, who wanted to talk about the relationship between nerd culture and the recognition of mental health; Kristina Meek, writing on the brand new series of THE WALKING DEAD; and Mark Searby, getting really involved and interviewing the organiser of EM-Con. We give you the space and platform to shape your words and present them to a target audience – we’d love to hear what you have to say.
REVIEWERS!
We get preview materials from the likes of Image Comics, DC Entertainment, Oni Press, Action Lab Comics, Alterna Comics, 2000 AD and we’re aiming to get a whole lot more – if you love your comics and you’d like to review these books for us, we’ll be happy to post your thoughts on these upcoming releases. We’re looking for those that look beyond just a premise of a book and examine what the creative team are doing with their work. Interested? Contact us today!
POST-ERS!
If you spot something that directly impacts on San Diego Comic-Con and con culture at large, we’d like to share it with our readers – that’s where YOU come in. If you see any news that you think a ‘con merchant’ would be interested in – news of a panel, a special guest, California falling into the sea… – spread the word!
There’s so much stuff out there – we hardly can keep up with it all ourselves! We’re looking for people that think, “Hey! I’m interested in this stuff, maybe other people will be, too!” Tastemakers. Culture hounds. Night owls!! We’re looking for YOU!
Talk to us today about how you can contribute to An Englishman In San Diego – we’d love to have you on board.
